I haven't yet mentioned this in my blog, but I am absurdly excited for the upcoming Lego Batman video game.
I am a huge fan of the two Lego Star Wars games, and the Lego Indiana Jones game. I think the Batman one is going to be the best one. And the trailer is frigging adorable:
Look at Penguin waddle! And Catwoman is all smooching Batman!
Can I build myself and make myself smooch Batman?!!!!
If so then this is more exciting than The Dark Knight.

Okay - that looks great. Here's hoping for some ridiculous characters, like the Ventriloquist or Bat-Mite.
I've found that if a person likes the Lego video games, that person loves and I am one of those people. I want Lego Halo, Lego Half-Life, and Lego Bio-Shock. I'm chomping at the bit for Lego Batman and hope that it sells well enough for a sequel, Lego DC Universe or, if that is too much too ask for, Lego Justice League of America.
I am hoping they will do a Lego Harry Potter series. That makes sense.
Who else does Lego have the rights to?
Lego Thomas the Tank Engine? Meh.
I'm playing Lego Indie with my friend right now (we already did the Lego Star Wars games), but Lego Batman is the one I'm really looking forward to. It's a great series, and surprisingly I don't find myself getting sick of the novelty. Bring on more, I say.
I'm waiting for Grand Theft Auto: Gotham City. It HAS to be done! It just HAS to!!!!
Look at Lego Catwoman wiggle those nonexistant Lego hips.
I'm as excited for this game as I was for the '89 Batman flick when I was a kid. Which means A LOT.
Bwah-hahahahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!
Oh, yes...
Oh, and congrats on the whole being married thing (I hate the word 'nuptials'- eurrgghhh)...
Ha, I love how Robin gets all "grr" after Catwoman kisses Batman.
For me the LEGO Batman game starts better than LEGO Star Wars just because Batman actually has a rogue's gallery and thus each level can have logical villains instead of contrived "I'm a crazy George Lucas creation from the horrible prequels" villain.
Of course I'm not biased at all.
My only hope is that they offer some ability to level the difficulty. I appreciate the kid friendly infinite lives model, but I do want a game experience that moves beyond a walk through nostalgia tour.
