Quick Review: Titans Together #1

This is a skirt:

This is a muffin cup:

You'll notice the subtle differences, I'm sure.

Ok, now that we've had this talk, maybe you'll stop drawing things like this:

Siiiiiiigh.

Also, this comic is terrible.

Well played, amigo. Also, you cropped the image just right so it looks like iron Fist had a sex-change and joined the Titans.

Or he might just be wearing make-up, I'm hypothesizing here.

Robin looks embarrassed to be there.

Robin is embaressed. Wouldnt you be if your team mates wore muffin cups for skirts.

Geez, I think even the naked Starfire was covered better.

Between the muffin cups and the elongated torsos, I have to admit that Ian Churchill does nothing for me, artwise.

Martian Manhunter and Superman should start a support group for this sort of thing. Oh, sure, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and others might think they're safe, having no sidekicks or sidekicks in pants. But no one is safe when even a character who is outfitted by her very own molecules cannot control the shape of her skirt.

Hee hee.

They should watch out for Nightwing. I hear he'll go after anything in a muffin cup.

Supergirl's muffin cup is all that, whole grain, low fat.

Glad I missed this. I've heard nothing but bad things about it.

Oh my God...that is fucking funny.

You know, I leafed through that book at my local store this week, and I remember how George Perez' TITtilating art did a lot for my post pubesent comic crush...and then I saw muffin cup's version of Starfire's..uh..cups and realized that teen tittilation and Starfire's basically nudes scenes have jumped the shark.

Yeah, I know, I JUST figured that out.

eek.

I've always been perplexed why flying characters wear skirts to begin with.

The skirt somehow preserves their modesty? When 99% of the world sees them from below?

another proud gradate of the rob liefeld school of insanely disproportional anatomical art and costume design!

This book was like watching a cinemax movie.

The identical little rosebud mouths on the ladies are also fairly disturbing.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA YES THIS!
I do like that cover, though, with the hands. I know it's been done before, but it still works now and then.

I know if I were Supergirl or Mary and knew I'm nearly impervious to harm, I'd totally be rockin' the skimpy outfit for perplexing purposes.

"Terrible" is a compliment.

Funny observation...Did anyone else notice that they didn't mention the creative team in the house ads for this book

At least Churchill finally stopped drawing all his women with fe-mullets. Seriously. Check out his 90's work for Marvel. Mullets abound.

I wish there was a joke about muffin tops to be had in there somewhere but I'm shooting blanks...

At first i had no idea on what you ment with the muffin cups and skirts but when i saw the last pic i was laughing pretty hard. Great observation.

Well, I don't really think it will work.
