Celebrating the Nineties with Ghost Rider

Over at the Invincible Super Blog, Chris Sims is having a contest to celebrate the most nineties-looking covers of all time.

Although you basically can't top any cover in the Marvel 2099 universe, I feel that issue #15 in the oh-so-90s Ghost Rider/Blaze Spirits of Vengeance series is a pretty good representation of the era:

Yep. That's a lot of pink.

It doesn't glow in the dark. It glows in the day.

I don't really have any amazing 90s covers to contribute but I did by a stack of Morbius: The Living Vampire for a few quarters!

Morbius is physically incapable of closing his mouth at all. He seems to suffer the opposite disease that caused all characters to clench their teeth uncontrollably.

That...that is really astoundingly hideous. Ah, the 90's. Whatever in the world were we thinking?

I think an even better idea is to find the Best 90's Cover that was made during THIS decade. Liefeld's done some pretty horrible covers for Cable/Deadpool and Teen Titans in the last couple years. I'm also confident that they could be even MORE 90's than 90's comics were, as he's had more time to figure out how to add MORE teeth to a character's mouth. ^_^
