Yeah. At the Fairlanes Bowling Alley at the Halifax frigging Shopping Centre. That was unexpected.Matt missed the whole thing because he was trying to buy socks in the mall.

Haw! I just went over and checked out the Ice Cream Social, and it is a hoot.
Poor Fire probably can't eat ice cream because it melts. Ice eats it and smiles right in front of her.

So, um, how did you guys discover that was Jack White? If I saw someone who looked like Jack White, I'd probably just think, "Hey, that guy looks like Jack White" and not, like, ask or anything. Just curios.

Oh, well, The White Stripes were in town for a show, so that was our first tip-off. Also, one of the guys he was bowling with was wearing the White Stripes stage hand outfit. (I had just seen their show in Moncton two days before). But he also just looked EXACTLY like Jack White.
jack white is very much obsessed with memphis and a while back he was staying here recording an album. on any given night he was likely to be found at one of the local bars, creeping out the hipster girls. what a character.
also, that ice cream social thing? totally awesome.
what are the odds to find a rock star in the very place you are celebrating a friends birthday. That is just good luck
