That sequence had something for everyone--the Tintin sequence (Cal must have lost his mind), all the Moore stuff, the "Out of Business" sign with Comic Book Guy doing the cover to Amazing Spidey #50...so great. I loved all the World's Finest stuff too, with Superman and his "Gotham or Bust!" sign and Batman going "Gulp!" I liked Dan Clowes asking Lisa if she knew anyone who worked at Batman.
Also, they had Alan Moore laughing and singing about a Little Lulu comic. Consider my mind blown.
I busted at least part of a gut over 'Watchmen Babies'. For one shining moment I felt like part of a demographic or something like that. Oh to be part of a group that gets catered top all the time!
I laughed and laughed. Ok, they could have dispensed with the whole subplot of Marge's gyms, and Homer's quest for physical perfection via plastic surgery. I would have been just as happy watching Alan Moore sing about Little Lulu for the whole show!
Yesterday (Nov. 18th when that Simpsons episode aired) is also Alan Moore's birthday. My car also shares the same birthday and if you read my blog entry (from Nov. 18th) Rachelle, I think you'll appreciate what I named my car.

I'm glad you loved it too. That World's Finest thing killed me.

That episode was a wonderful gift to all of us.
"To the cash bar!"
Now if only someone would post a picture of the Watchmen Babies on the online. I crave them as wallpaper.
alan moore's a hell of a voice actor, ain't he?
what was up with the structure of that episode though? The first ten minutes had, like, nothing to do with the rest of it.
i'd totally buy a watchbabies comic book...
