What the --? Where did you dig up that Supercrybaby panel?

Hello DC, "General Hospital" is on the phone and they want their cheezy dialogue back.

It's from Lois Lane #99.

And guess who's made him cry? That's right. Batman.

Haw! It's not just Superboy Prime who is all emo and angsty! I don't know what it is with Kryptonians and crying, but I swear that Superman bursts into tears at the drop of a hat.

Green Lanterns on the other hand, hardly EVERY cry...they just beat things up.

Wow. Awesome, rachelle!

How emo.

"I'd ... I'd cut myself, if only there was a blade sharp enough to penetrate my skin and release the sadness which dwells within!"

And evidently Kryptonian tears are released directly from their hearts.

Or they cry blood, or something.

Superman's gonna go home and listen to some Placebo.

I have to ask - how did Batman make him cry? Because I'm hoping he whipped off some sort of costume or threw another party and it was all a big prank - ha! ha! har! ho!

In a related post... Over at my own blog, Superman can be seen even more hang dog, again thanks to Batman, on the cover of Lois Lane #89, and tomorrow, you can come over and see Jimmy Olsen make him cry.

It's so hard to explain what made Superman cry.

Basically...Superman is accusing Lois Lane of murdering Lana Lang and wants her sentenced to death. It's...a tad out of character. And I don't think that Lana is even dead. Superman really needs to fact check these things. ANYWAY, Batman is, of course, Lois Lane's lawyer. I mean, obviously, right? Because Batman is a lawyer. The panel before this one has Superman accusing Lois of murder, which makes Lois cry on Batman's handsome shoulder and say "How could Superman turn against me?!". Batman comforts her by saying (while looking directly at Superman) "He has a heart of steel!" Then we get the panel of Superman crying and being all emo.

So there you go. Simple.

Martian Manhunter wasn't guest-starring in that issue was he? Cause if he overheard those thoughts telepathically, Superman would never hear the end of it.
