Contest Reminder and Fun With Iron Man

Just a quick reminder that there are only two days left to email me some photos of your favourite comic book shop. All contributors will be entered to win a copy of the fabulous first issue of The Spirit, signed by Darwyn Cooke.

I just watched Fantastic Four again, so I'm all set for Rise of the Silver Surfer this Friday. It will be great.

I was thinking about the upcoming Iron Man movie today, and you know what's going to be really great about it?

You are one twisted fuck. If you were a guy I'd propose marriage even. Please do not tone down your sense of humor EVER!

Oh, and howzabout rating the hunk appeal of Iron Fist?

And I am a guy... so...

...please don't rate me.

(I keed!)

Iron Fist will be rated, don't you worry. But I need more time with him first.

Fuck Iron Fist (literally and figuratively - yum...)

How about the Master of Kung Fu? That man never wears a shirt and sweats like a pig!

Speaking of Iron Fist - what do you think about this picture I found (not my work):

This guy has done some really great (and a few shitty) reinterpretations of character costumes. Personally, I prefer his Batwoman to the current one...

That's the best milk ad ever! Isn't it inspired casting to have Robert Downey, Jr. play everybody's favourite alcoholic Avenger? At least Downey doesn't have to resort to method acting.

As for Rise of the Silver Surfer, I have low expectations after I read about some major character mangling in an advance review, but I'm still going to check it out. Laurence Fishburne as the voice of Norrin Radd is good enough for me.

We really need some more DC movies, sigh.
